The HD i5 M430 has 4.3 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the Graphics 3000, which means that the memory performance of the HD i5 M430 is marginally better than the Graphics 3000.
We put the 2.26 GHz Intel 430M to the test against the 2.5 GHz 2450M to find out which you should buy. The Intel Core i5-430M was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in January 2010. It is part of the Core i5 lineup, using the Arrandale architecture with Socket G1. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 4 threads. Core i5-430M has 3MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.267 GHz by default, but can boost up to 2.
